You can not install them as they are.

There is a script in this forum to convert .deb packages to tcz extensions, if there is something you want (if you have a good understanding of what you are doing). You need to ensure you include all dependencies.

I always thought you can, search for deb in the appbrowser, there's some tool for it.

There are two packages: dpkg-deb.tcz and dpkg.tcz.

Thx, but which one should be used to convert?

I would have told you if I remembered more.
These two packages would enable you to install, but in order to reuse them you'd still have to create a package (what I think is what deb2tc does).
Just try it.

It is not clear how much you understand.

As mentioned above, follow what it says here.

http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php?topic=2325.0

Don't expect it to be straightforward. If you are able to get it working, you may need to use some dependencies from tinycore and some dependencies from debian. You will need to manually sort out dependencies.

Is there a particular app you want to install?

Do you want to install a lot of debian apps?

What are you trying to achieve?

You may need to experiment to see what works.

If you don't understand what you are doing, you may find it too difficult.

If you do get it working well, there is an opportunity to make a new distro based on the tinycore concepts, with the ability to install debian (or another distro's) apps.
