Teamviewer runs fine, although I'd rather the application didn't include wine, it performs great as is.  My installation runs OnDemand

Hello

I use Remmina from the tcl apps store. It was added a few months ago.

It allows me to dial into a distant linux computer and boot into the gui
desktop (ubuntu machine) from my home machine here.

The communications protocol i use is NX which you can select in reminna.
(it has many protocols you can choose from)

You simply supply remina with the url of the distant machine. It's IP address
kind of.....and a username and password.

@coreplayer2

Can you tell us how exactly to go around getting Teamviewer working in a vanilla TC system? I downloaded the "no install" bundle, but the script fails (.tvscript/wrapper not found). I took a look at the script, and it's a three-liner that apparentely uses Wine to launch a (old?) Windows version of Teamviewer? (tsk, tsk, shame on you, TeamViewer Gmbh).

Still, we use their software a lot to give remote support, and I'm thinking of using TinyCore as the base OS of some of my dedicated industrial applications.

Many thanks!

I got TeamViewer to work (by calling .wine/bin/wine path/to/Teamviewer.exe), although I could not see the graphics update (must have been a local problem, I'm running TC off a virtual machine and connecting from the same Mac).

What does the wrapper do? :l

Thanks!
