Title: new to TCL and need some help installing

i am haveing problems installing TC from the multicore cd
i have followed the installation instructions to the T but for some reason i cant get TC to
Boot after install

the PC has 1 hard drive and ive been wipeing it after every failed install with Gparted live cd
i get no errors during the install and when i reboot im greeted by a blinking cursor.........thats it......
nothing else happens

now after haveing issues earlier today with this i managed to get it to install correctly just once
and after playing around and installing a bunch of apps just to test what would work and figure out how to
set stuff up i decided to wipe and reinstall now that i THOUGHT i had it figured out


but sadly its not working, and at one point the system was restarting as soon as the bios post
in a sad loop that forced me to boot into gparted and wipe the drive again

i am at a loss =(

all i know is there is NO problem with my hardware so either im doing something seriously wrong, or there is a BIG bug in the copy of TC that i downloaded today

i have tryed to install at least 20 times today, whew its been hours and im stumped

1) Your issue sounds like a blank MBR or PBR.
2) What version, 3.7.1?
3) What instructions are you following?  http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/install.html  one of the articles at http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/ or something else?

yes im using the 3.7.1 iso

and yep these are the instructions i am/was following
