wireless on the shuttle xs35
« on: May 24, 2011, 11:08:04 AM »
I have not found driver in firmware for:

lspci >

03:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8191SEvA Wireless LAN Controller (rev 10)

I have not found a published tcl  firmware through Apps that contains a driver for this controller.

Has anyone successfully installed a realtek driver for the controller. There is one driver I found on the Realtex site

A success story is here http://www.ubuntu-forum.de/artikel/56214/rtl8191sevb-wlan-bricht-beim-daten-kopieren-zusammen.html (sorry.. in German.. use a translation programm).
The new driver from here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=48&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true was made/use.

Thanks floppy,

Had it translated and thoroughly enjoyed the scenario.
Not an unfamiliar  investigative outcome.

Plan to install the driver today.
