Firefox 4.0 is the current release, so they are both up to date in version number.

Ok, I see now after looking at the mozilla ftp archive, the main page said 4.0 was current.

Though this is another one that I am in the process of giving to Matt, he is out of town as well as I was the last one to update it, so I will go ahead and update it to 4.0.1.

Some bugs

In the tabs at the top, there will sometimes be writing on top of other writing. When you first go to a new website, "Connecting" will be displayed. After it has connected, the name of the website will be displayed. With this bug, Connecting remains on top of the name of the website.

When you try to add a bookmark, the pop up window does not display properly.

After observing these bugs ever since updating to 4.0, I had a window pop up automatically, saying update to 4.0.1. I think it was an official one from Firefox. I think Firefox is aware of the bugs, has made an updated version, and is encouraging everyone to update.

I think some of the issues like the writing on top of other writing, are gtk related and I see it with other apps, especially when the font size is too large to be displayed cleanly.

Firefox 4.0.1 is being uploaded as we speak.
