hi

according to my eyesight, compiletc does not load  squashfs-tools-4.x.tcz
Is there a reason for that?

My selfish thinking is that if someone is compiling, they may be building private extensions but if not why not have it for those who are thinking of building tczs

I am not suggesting that I know how to build em ;)

Hi aus9
The purpose of compiletc is to provide a proper compiling environment. While it may often be used for creating
extensions, that is not its primary purpose. I use compiletc to develop, debug, and test programs under linux. I
then cross compile them to run in their final environment, a Windows server. You don't need  squashfs-tools
to compile programs, therefore it isn't and should not be a dependency.
