There is no guarantee of what would work or not when having such boot media read errors.

Thank you. But I still don't get it to work :( I think I got the right data from Puppy Linux 2.14X-Top6.

I don't know if I do it correctly though: Control Panel -> Network -> IP Address: xxx & Name Servers: yyy. Nothing happens except it now takes a bit longer before I get the error message.

Ohhh. Sorry, I did not notice we are now on the second page. This is what I get

"sudo udhcpc -i eth0" -

udhcpc (v1.18.3) started

a.s.o. forever. What does it mean?

EDIT: This is really frustrating. Do I really have to move the computer in order to bypass the Mac? :(

Maybe helps, maybe not. But if neither ps3 or xbox360 get a dhcp reply from a Mac with the net sharing on, the fix for that might just help busybox's client too.

It means that there is no response from any dhcp server.

I really hope you guys figure this out!   ;D I have also had issues with realtek cards.  I used the built in one in my computer for 2 weeks and then it went out.  All it does is shine yellow.  I installed another pci realtek card and same issue after a month.  I'm going to try a get the log files latter  ;D
