Backup to Rewritable CD
«

Hello ,
I have made bootable TinyCoreLinux Rewritable CD . But at the time of exit it wont allow me to backup my changes any more. It always starts with fresh copy.Is there any possible way to take Backup and retrive information.
I also tried with FLASH drive and it allows to store my chages in mydata.tgz folder.

AFAIK, TC does not inherently support to save to CD.

You cannot just write to a CD like you do to a hard drive.
You might want to check out remastering on the wiki.

It's been a while since I've used re-writable CD's, but cdrecord (cdrtools.tcz) should work.
Just make sure the disk isn't mounted before you start recording your new iso.
You also have to erase the entire disk first.
The only drawback is that the CD-RW's seem to have a high failure rate after several cycles and never seem to work well in anything other than original drive. YMMV
