openjdk-{6,7}-jre.tcz and mozilla plugin
« on: December 29, 2010, 01:10:14 AM »
I don't see the file libnpjp.so file in the java extenisons.  It would be nice to be included.

Also, it would be good to include a symlink to that libnpjp.so file in /usr/local/lib/mozilla/plugins as that is the standard TC mozilla plugin path for extensions that is recognized by the Mozilla based browsers in the repo.

I may be mistaken as I was comparing to the standard Sun Java, so the plugin may well not be available.

I haven't looked into it yet, but if that is the case then perhaps a fetch and install script for the java plugin could be made.

I have tried in vain to make opera 11 work with java - learning that a plugin would be required - while opera10.tcz works with openjdk-7-jre.tcz
