TUN/TAP ?
« on: December 13, 2010, 09:36:17 AM »
Hi,
I need for an openvpn connection the TAP/TUN driver/kernel module.
"modprobe" tun fails and "modprobe -l" has not tun.ko.

Need I to install some addiotnal Extention or must I recompile the Kernel ?

Deka

tun/tap support is compiled in.

Ok, thanks!

But where is the module ?
On "modprobe tun" I just get "module tun not found in modules.dep"
and there is not tun.ko  under /lib/modules/2.6.33.3-tinycore/kernel/drivers/net/.

Greetings,

Compiled in explicitely implies that support is not modular   ;)
