Set tce drive gone?

Just booted up base norestore, and wanted to set tce drive... but the CP button is no more.

No problem, it's probably in system tools menu... nope.

Dang, don't know what the terminal command is... abort.

May I ask for set tce drive to be added to system menu?

You have always been able to "setdrive" by booting with a one time only boot code of tce= as documented in Core Concepts. This has been since day one.

But because many don't bother to read the provided documentation. An after boot script tce-setdrive was created. It was initially added to CP. But many didn't find it or bother to peruse what is available in the system.

Many still struggled with AppBrowser only to lose their downloaded extensions as they were downloaded into ram /tmp/tce/optional directory.

This very fact was discussed in the forums and  that I would integrate setdrive as an enabled button in AppBrowser, where it would be most easily encountered.

Set drive is integrated into AppBrowser, and when needed is enabled. It was announced in release candidate 3.3rc1. Both the facts of changes to Appbrowser and the modification to tce-setdrive

Since it is typically a one time use item, I do not wish to clutter the System Tools menu.

* Use the provided one time only boot code.
* Use the Set button where TCE: is displayed in AppBrowser.
* Use the CLI tce-setdrive.

Wow I simply admitted I didn't know the CLI command at that point, having always used the CP button... no need for an essay or a silly reply such as "what about tce-setdrice??"
