Wbar with sub-menus ?

All good menus are segregated by Appetizers, Salads, Entrees, & Desserts.

Can that be done using Wbar ?    I saw a screenshot that implied that Wbar had two sub-Wbar icons, that started a second Games-Wbar, and a third Office-Wbar.

Was I dreaming ?  ... or maybe it was too much dessert.

I have done something like this in the distant past... clicking on certain wbar icons would start another wbar with related icons. Clicking on one of these opened the app and closed the second wbar. At the time I did not have the knowledge on how to reliably get the second wbar's PID so sometimes the original one would close instead. But I am sure it could be solved.

This is a fully manual process but not very difficult to do.

Yes, wbar itself has no such ability, it stays to the "simple" goal.

On the wbar command line you can specify the position and data file file to be used, so as long as you keep each one distinct from the others in both screen position and data you should be able to run several (the limitation would be the screen positions - there are only a few to choose from).  I've never tried starting one wbar from an icon on another but I don't see why there would be a problem with that.

I haven't tried any of this since the TC 1.x days.

It isn't really quite the same as having "sub-menus" because each is independent of the others, but the idea is there.
