cheating wine between two systems
« on: November 01, 2010, 06:05:08 AM »
Hello,
I am able to authorize SampleTank2 in Linux systems but the authorization tool gives error if executed in Tinycore so I cannot authorize that program there.
I ask if it is possible to cheat wine (whose file structure on disk seems to be simple and similar in different systems) copying some file from another linux wine folders to Tinycore's ones.
The authorization tool says it creates a sort of system footprint code but if I run it on the same system though with different linux distro it should accept it, shouldn't?
Thanks

You can just copy the drive_c folder and see if it works.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
