« on: October 30, 2010, 11:26:49 AM »
Hi,

I've installed the openssh extension but if i want to connect with user tc i receive "Permission denied" and sshd display follow results:

Quote
tc@epia-server:~$ sudo /usr/local/sbin/sshd -D -e
Server listening on 0.0.0.0 port 22.
Failed password for tc from 192.168.0.2 port 53186 ssh2
Received disconnect from 192.168.0.2: 13: Unable to authenticate

the password for this user are already changed

here are the config file:

# sshd_config(5) for more information.

# This sshd was compiled with PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin

# The strategy used for options in the default sshd_config shipped with
# OpenSSH is to specify options with their default value where
# possible, but leave them commented.  Uncommented options change a

First: that is not how you should start sshd.

Add to/opt/bootlocal.sh
/usr/local/ext/init.d/openssh start

Second: I don't see you running ssh.
