Saving content of other partitions while rebooting
« on: October 14, 2010, 04:32:14 AM »
Hi,

I've set up my TinyCore 3.1 such that I have a /mnt/sda1 with all the "system" related files, and /mnt/sda2 where I would like to install and keep a development environment.

However, when I put something on /mnt/sda2 and I reboot, all information is gone.

How can I save the content of /mnt/sda2 during a shutdown or reboot?

Best rgds,

Umm, did you verify that the partition is mounted before you write to it?
