Enqueueing Audio Streams from Firefox/Namoroka to XMMS
« on: October 17, 2010, 03:51:06 AM »
Using xmms --enqueue allows files/streams to be appended to the xmms queue, i.e. it does not remove any existing queued contents.

The enqueue function is reasonably easy to configure with either Opera or Links to enable handling streamed audio from edna.tcz.  Is this also possible using Firefox or Namoroka?

I am able to achieve the passing of a stream but cannot find how to specify it is to be enqueued.  This results in the selection of a second stream overwriting the  queue rather than appending to it.  I have had an idea of writing a mini script containing xmms --enqueue and pointing Firefox/Namoroka to it when a stream is selected but I would prefer to find out how to do it without the script if possible.
