PyPanel issues
« on: October 05, 2010, 03:30:26 AM »
There are PyPanel.tcz and PyPanel-2.6.tcz  in the repo. They look identical, built agains Python 2.6. They depend on python-xlibs.tcz which loads python.tcz aka 2.6 currently.

There is an empty line in the .dep file I do not know is it causing a problem or just cosmetic.

the 2.6 name was just added as per the Python discussion.  The PyPanel.tcz was to be deleted.  I am trying to keep things clean and the repo unbroken along the way, without omissions or oversights.  Starting first with those apps that nothing depends on.  I am going one extension at a time as that is what time allows as well as lets me check for small errors along the way rather than possibly having to untangle a larger mess resulting from a bulk conversion.  I am also compiling a list of things that exist in both 2.6 and 2.7 format that nothing depends on, which I think the 2.6 version can be safely removed, and will consult the extension maker in those cases.
