[solved] Xvnc as X
« on: November 04, 2010, 02:54:33 PM »
Hi!

I'm using Xvnc as X by having it first in .xsession. It stopped working when I removed xvesa.tcz from the startup. Is xvesa/xorg necessary for Xvnc? If not, how can I make Xvnc start without loading xvesa/xorg at boot?

regards
/Uggla

You need to give some more info. What is your .xsession? What are the error messages from Xvnc, if any?
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

I found it!
/etc/sysconfig/Xserver was missing.
