mtd-KERNEL.tcz not present
« on: October 02, 2010, 05:17:08 AM »
Hello,
I would like to mount NTFS filesystems and I downloaded filesystem... extension. It has mtd-KERNEL.tcz in dependencies, not present in the repository.
I cannot connect my tinycore to internet so I have to find this extension.
Can you help me?
Thanks in advance

Both mtd-2.6.33.3-tinycore.tcz and mtd-2.6.33.3-tinycore64.tcz are in the repository. Using appbrowser the proper version is loaded depending on your system type (KERNEL is replaced with actual kernel version by official TC tools).

I am using last tinycore kernel so I do not understand: do I have to load the above mentioned extension and all will work in current tinycore kernel?
thanks

You don't have to. Use appbrowser, it will do the job. In fact, what is the problem???

I did what you explained but still I cannot read my Vista hard-drive:
I see sda1,sda2,sda3;
I am able to mount just sda1 that seems to be a sort of windows' "grub"
but I cannot access to sda2 and sda3 that I suppose are my two Vista partitions.
