[solved] Java in Firefox
« on: September 14, 2010, 06:17:14 AM »
Hi!

I've downloaded java from http://java.com/en/download/help/linux_install.xml#selfextracting and installed to a directory in /home/tc. Java now works fine in Opera but I just can't get Firefox to load the plugin. I've tried to symlink libjavaplugin_oji.so to all mozilla/firefox plugins directories i could find but it still won't show up as installed in Firefox. Any ideas?

regards

Newer versions of Firefox require a symlink of lib/i386/libnpjp2.o instead of plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so.
