TC as Default Desktop

Hi all!

I am moving to tinycore as my primary machine and default desktop. I also will do programming jobs for internet (lighttpd, php, mysql) and cellphones (netbeans and j2me). So, I read that Tinycore handles applications in a diferent way... It is possible to "mix" the TCE (or TCZ?) of lighttpd and the standard install of netbeans (from the .bin on its site)?

And, one more thing: I usually use my 250GB HD as follows:
partition 1: 15GB for the "/" system
partition 2: 1GB for the swap
partition 3: all for "/home"
Can I do that with TC without loosing its speed?
