squashfs-tools & corrupted files inside tcz

TC version 3.0alpha9

recently when creating extensions i started to encounter corrupted files inside tcz

this is happening too much

so can you please rebuild squashfs-tools please because zlib is changed too much since squashfs first build ?

i can only suspect zlib, nothing else comes to my mind

Base system is waiting on a zlib release, and I think after that should be a good time for a squashfs-tools rebuild.

I am also getting weird results with squashfs, files ending up in different directories after being squashed compared to the originals.

Does this still happen in tc-3 rc1 with the re-built zlib and squashfs module?

not seen yet or maybe i am not aware of it. to be 100% sure i need to test all of extensions with some script
that checks each file.

i think this should be enough

mount -o loop extension.tcz /mnt/test
find /mnt/test -not -type d | xargs file
umount /mnt/test
All I remember is Input/output error when i tried to cat some of the files and could not open them in text editor.

if it ever happens again i will provide detailed report and the tcz file.

I didn't see an updated squashfs extension, am I missing something?

It's the kernel module (not the tools).  If you are running rc1, that's good enough.
