Is there any progress with fixing this bug? Or may be a workaround to start xscreensaver?

Can anyone tell how to launch screensaver on TCL 3.0? I really need it for my terminal clients... :'(

The X built-in one can be forced on via

sleep 1; xset s activate
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Yes, thank you, but as I know it can't show a slideshow from images :-[ We use TCL for diskless touch terminals in our store and need a slideshow or even video unfortunately :o
