dsl linux glibc update
«

I've posted this question on the dsl forum but received no reply. So since there are many DSL experts on this forum I thought someone here might have the answer. As I understand it DSL 4.4 uses the glibc 2.3.2 library. Is there a simple way to update the library to 2.3.4 or newer?

Using tc is a good long term plan but I have been using dsl for a long time and it has worked very well for what I need. I'm anxious to measure the performance difference between the two distros for applications like apache, php, and mysql.

You could use apt-get/dpkg force to install a later version of libc - this is often what happens anyway if you try to install a package from debian sarge.
Edit ..and didn't somebody make a glibc extension at some point?
