place icon on desktop
« on: June 18, 2010, 11:45:33 AM »
Hi,

I managed to run rdesktop on boot...
However, when idle the login screen will drop back to Tiny Core.
I want to put an icon for a sh file on desktop, when user clicks the file, the sh file will run and connect user to rdesktop...

How can I do this?

Cheers,
Burak

Well, maybe I could suggest using rox-filer for managing your desktop icons? It's in the repo. There must be some more file managers that can manage your desktop icons, but this one left the best impression on me. Plus, it is very configurable, so you should be able to set it up just the way you like.  ;)

This has been mentioned before, please do a search. I believe both icons and a loop were suggested.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
