jack: audio device id is different every time

Hello,
my tinycore system is persistent on my notebook hard disk.
My notebook has 2 usb ports:
1st port: edirol audio midi interface UA-4fx
2nd port: mouse.
I am experiencing this:
if I run jack control and open setup I see that the edirol interface is labelled with different id every time I reboot: hw0 or hw1.
Because of this strange behaviour my jack settings have to be changed every time.
Can you help me with this?
I need those settings not to change. I do not change anything connected to usb ports.
