Suggestions and question re AppsAudit
« on: May 29, 2010, 10:15:48 PM »
Dependencies: When clicking on List all with missing dependencies, it would be very convenient to be ale to click on the R/H pane to fetch missing dependencies.

Dependencies: Perhaps add menu item, "Fetch all missing dependencies"

Question: Why is "List missing dependencies" always greyed out - what conditions will make it available?

List missing dependencies is enabled only for a selected extension, choosen from List all with missing dependencies. It will then dsiplay exactly what is presumed to be missing. Once can then use Appbrowser to [/b]Download Only[/b] or perhaps edit bogus/orphaned entries in the .dep file as the case dictates. There are times when orphaned items need to be edited out. Because of such trying to totally automate is not desireable. Case in point, flash10.tcz.dep and the many openssl versions that have appeared in its .dep file based on the time of its generation.
