This is why I like Tinycore:

You can see all I have is a browser and a few tools.  Exactly what I want.

My onboot.lst:

chromium-browser.tcz <-- also in copy2fs.lst.  Launches faster than IE on Windows.
wireless-2.6.29.1-tinycore.tcz
wireless_tools.tcz
nano.tcz
flash10.tcz
openbox.tcz
915resolution.tcz <-- Awesome package!  Easiest 915resolution install ever!
conky.tcz
openbox-themes.tcz
alsa.tcz  <-- Didn't want sound, but the browser seems to crash less with this.
wpa_supplicant.tcz

Thank you Team Tinycore Linux.

Here's my screenshot:

Micro Core 3.0RC1 + Xvesa + Aewm.

Looks nice and it's hyper-fast.

My favorite desktop,  have had folks ask about my conky config, maybe I might submit the modded conky extension and my config extensions (I have three which provide contrasting colors against various backgrounds).

this is a USB thumb drive mobile frugal Core install running Xorg confless currently booted on one of my notebooks
