On which distribution is based tinycore?

On which distribution is based tinycore? I remember that damnsmalllinux is based on debian and knoppix but i dont know on which distribution is based tinycore.

I think I'm not going to lie when saying that Tiny Core is not based on any other distribution. The fact, that TC's main developer worked on Damn Small Linux and some history behind that fact is still leading some people to think, that TC is based on DSL I think.

The boot-up scripts seems to be knoppix-like,same colors
