kvm-2.6.29.1-tinycore updated

The virtio drivers were removed from the extension; they have a clear conflict of interest with KVM.

KVM is for the host, virtio for the guest. I guess one could think of virtio as Qemu Guest Tools :D

I just wanted to use virtio within a TC VM (using QEMU), and realized that the drivers are "gone".

Is there anyone whose got the old version of the extension, or is there another way to get hold of them (e.g. in the form of a separate extension)?

After I could properly test them, I discovered they weren't working, and so removed.

It had only balloon and ring anyway. Expect proper virtio support in 3.x, in the base.

Thanks for this update.

I'd almost suspect the Core team to have collectively taken a joint lesson in marketing; all those enticing hints that are scattered around about the upcoming TC 3.x ;)
I'm sure a fair amount of TC/MC users are looking forward to it's release. (Any chance to get a hint when that might be?)
