Does gnome-doc-utils actually require scrollkeeper, or no?
I have only used it this once - compiling gthumb. I almost scraped by without it - just at make install.

see rarian.tcz it is scrollkeeper compatible and replacement for it
by the way gthumb was on my todo list anyways take care of it
also check configure options for --disable-scrollkeeper

gthumb: not up and running yet. Having trouble with lots of segfaults (newest version), reading files! (previous versions)
I'll let you know if I have any success. If you'd like to try a build, my build script is attached. Perhaps you'll figure it out faster than myself
