TinyCore 2.10 with Fast Track RAID
« on: March 28, 2010, 08:08:45 PM »
Hi all,

Does anyone know if RAID is supported in TinyCore?

I am playing around with a few set-ups for Norton Ghost 2003 and have it successfully running in dosbox with 2.10, however Ghost cannot detect drives and I cannot mount the RAIDed (mirror) drives through the mount tool. The chipset is fasttrack based.

If necessary I can add the HDD info dump like has been suggested in so many other posts but I was hoping someone would be able to say either "dont bother not supported" or "it should work, try this".

I can mount anything from USB's to externals but just not my Raided drives which appear as hda and sda1 ??? while my usb is sdc1.

Anyhelp appreciated, sorry I am a n00b.

Can't say yea or nay, but the raid support is in md.tcz and mdadm.tcz.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

I do not mean to answer for chaser, but since he says it is Fastrack, the chipset must be Promise 378.
