Is there a roadmap available that indicates the planned developments for TC/MC?

Even in a fast car it is still usual to know where one is going.

SamK,
I think the latest and possible enhancements in the linux world are immidiately reflected in TC/MC !
In that context, this is a very2 live community, and giving curaga`s reference - I can say that, the only barier is your own imagination/creativity , as to whcih combination of packages and developments you should use to achieve your goals in Linux !

I fully agree that the community is a lively one.  Core is dynamic, and improving.  Distro improvements are normally done to a plan.  My assumption is that the Core team also use a plan.  It is a glimpse of this plan that I am requesting.

The time and effort is put into developing Tiny Core and extensions, not informing you of what they will do next.

They do not plan a date when the next version will be released. It will be released when it is ready.

However, most new versions come out in less than 2 months.

If you install every release candidate, they come out even more often, usually less than 2 weeks. There have been some release candidates I have only run once. When I have run them, the next one is available for download. So I have downloaded and installed it.

Stick around. You will see a continual flow of new versions, with continual improvements.

Tiny Core is being developed faster then most other operating systems.

They would have some idea of what new features will be introduced in the next version, and future versions, but they will need testing. If something doesn't work properly it may be changed. When it is working correctly, you will see a new version.

You won't have to wait long. Probably in a few weeks there will be a new version.

When they release version 3.0 expect greater changes than with other versions.
Many people see what is. Some people see what can be, and make a difference.

The request is not for a release schedule or a commitment to one, nor is it a request to know the date of the next release.  It is simply asking for information about what has been been considered for inclusion in the future and an idea of what, if any, major changes are intended.

I would agree that it would be nice to know what's coming up in Tiny Core.  Maybe not exactly when or where but at least some idea of whether a feature is considered compatible with TC's philosophy or not.
