alsa doesn't work.
Actually booting with base norestore and when the system is up install alsa: alsa works.
when I start without base norestore I see this error while booting:
udevd[63] can not read '/etc/udev/rules.d/25-alsa.rules'
If I put
/usr/local/tce.installed/alsa &
in /opt/bootlocal.sh
alsa works
I also create a file under /etc/profile.d
where I put this inside:
sudo alsactl restore

Most exciting feature is that recursive dependency resolution works as expected. Now no need to add all lower level dependencies to a .dep file up to the top, only where the dependency is. It makes extension maintenance much more easier and error free.

It is a very important milestone, similar to moving to single extension type and many of us were waiting for.

Thanks Robert, it's a great work!!!

YES! (i hope, after i see it in action). it was annoying, but i didn't use appbrowser often, so it didn't bother me much.

Hi Robert!

Thanks for a very nice new rc. I like the new feature with the progress of a download shown directly in the appbrowser. It would be nice though if it would show a status bar also (showing the progress of each file). I also like that the backup location is shown when logging out. Good job!

Have fun developing tinycore further,

Regardin Appbrowser, I also like lack of the many wget windows taking away focus making impossible to do anything during long downloads. However I would appreciate one popup at the and saying "Extensions downloaded successfuly" or something like that.

The last message in the status area should be the requested extension name with OK.

Yes, true. This just a practical stuff. When a long download is in progress I'm doing something else paralel and do not recognize when it is finished. A popup window "Hey wake up!" would help to recognize.

But then I just grabbed focus from what you were doing!
Perhaps if I color the background of the status area, say gold, to indicate I done?

Yes, anything visual, like a bold blinking, etc.
