tinycore and microcore-current.iso
« on: February 12, 2010, 10:53:51 AM »
If you download tinycore-current.iso or microcore-current.iso, it downloads with that name. I think these files should be replaced by links to the current iso, so it downloads with the correct version name (for example, tinycore_2.8.1.iso).

If there is something I don't understand, I am happy to learn.

They are symlinks to the numbered isos. I don't think there's a way to force the downloaded file to be named differently, especially one that works on both http and ftp.

You could move tinycore-current  and microcore-current up one directory level, and make them links to the pages with the current iso files.

Yeah, but that would cut out ftp.
