How to put author in quote heading?

I noticed some quotes have the author in the "quote" heading. How do you do this?

Click the "quote" button instead of "reply" or instead of using the "quick reply"  text field.  This will automatically add "author=so-and-so" in the quote tag.  You can edit the author if you want (see above) by changing "author=so-and-so" after clicking "preview".

Or you can just add the "author=so-and-so" to a manually entered quote tag in a quick reply.
