Need help with networking with Qemu
« on: October 28, 2009, 10:49:26 AM »
If I run Tiny Core (any version) inside of Qemu with Qemu running on Windows XP, the Tiny Core guest can use the physical network and can browse the web etc, etc - it just plain works.

Now I want to turn it around and run Tiny Core on the physical hardware and Windows XP inside of Qemu but Windows cannot seem to use the physical network, even though it claims to recognize the nic of the VM - it just plain -doesn't- work!

Has anybody successfully run Windows XP under Qemu and got networking to work?  If so, how did you go about it?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Under mc 2.7, an instance of tc 2.7 running under qemu can reach the network.  Now to try again w/Windows.
