Plugcomputers

alu:
what do you think about plugcomputers? tc/mc seem to fit extremly well with the concept. has anybody experience in plugcomputing?

as an example: SheevaPlug, TonidoPlug

gerald_clark:
Those are ARM processors, not i386.

althalus:
Which just means you'd need to take the time to recompile for the kernel for ARM. I think a TinyCore for ARM would be a good idea moving forward, if this whole "Netbooks must have ARM processors!" thing kicks off.

gerald_clark:
Well, they already come with Linux, so you should be able to just start compiling.

alu:
thanks for the feed back; my idea was to install tc/mc on it in order to have one ultra-portable computer that you can plug everywhere, but i didn't realize that it was not a x86 cpu
