Pidgin keeps shutting down after 10-20s

I am trying to get skype going but pidgin keeps shutting down after 10-20s.

Been having similar problems.

Haven't had a chance to look into it any further yet. (TC_2.5)

Funny, try and run it GDB to get a backtrace and now it won't crash.
