No internet
« on: November 18, 2009, 09:30:38 AM »
I run Tinycore from a CD but I can't get internet connection. The DHCP is on but when I try to switch to DHCP in internet connection it gets stuck and nothing happen.
The odd thing is that it works fine under qemu.

You might try searching the forum to see if anyone else has had similar problems.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Hopefully someone who knows more than I do will assist.

Does it happen with a static address?  What model/driver are you using? (lspci -k)  Are you attempting to connect with DHCP during boot?

Actually, that's expected.

Actually I've tried with a static address but the results are pretty much the same.
I've two NICs : Marvell 8001 & 8053 (yes, I've tried with both).

What's the output of `lspci -k`?  What version of TC are you using?

And also, searching through `dmesg` may reveal something.
