How do I retain wbar in xfce4?
« on: November 07, 2009, 06:11:18 PM »
I'd like to use wbar in xfce4 and have unchecked wbarkill in applications autostart; but when I right-click on wbar it vanishes. What should I do to retain it?

You are right. wbar is crashing at the moment, this is why wbarkill is added to the startup. It was not a high priority stuff to fix and personaly I do not see too much reason to use wbar in KDE/Gnome/Xfce environment, but will take a look :)

OK, by adding option -above-desk to .wbar I have got it going.

xfce4 insists on adding a window border to wbar at first start (which is fixed by right-clicking).  ;D

Yeah, -above-desk solves the issue.
