Whaaaat? The complaint has been that this project moves too fast.
Anyone in the community can contribute, and they do so, via extensions.
Just look at all the varied extensions that wok with Core, Tiny & Micro.
This project is already community driven.
Asking for donations, only complicates things, business license, taxes, and how to distribute, accounting and such.
.
This project has been a totally free project, even free from those pesky ad banners.
Kent paid the first year of bandwidth/hosting and I paid for the second year.
Recently I have added several to the Private Preview testing group, as well, as getting much needed help on the website.
The Wiki is also there for the community to contribute documentation from a user's perspective.
So you see, there is much anyone can do if they wish to contribute.
