hold on for a moment for wine, an updated version is on the way due to change in mpg123 and deps.

RE: xmms-wma:

I built the plugin and had the same experience I have read about, that is it crashes XMMS.  I could not get wma files to play so I did not upload it.

How about a tcz for gpsd?
http://gpsd.berlios.de/

This would greatly increase the value of tangogps.

I made a gpsd extension a while back but never submitted it. I'll do that.

Version 2.39 is about a year old. I built 2.92 (released March 3) simply because it was the latest, but does tangogps require 2.39? As for testing, I have a BU-353, Garmin LVC 18, Garmin GPSmap 76CSx, and one other.

I'm happy to test, I just could not get it to compile.
I have a garmin 60. Feel free to PM me with your package for testing.

i couldn't get gpsd versions 2.90+ compiled so i fallback to 2.39 if you have a higher version please feel free to update

"Alien is a program that converts between the rpm, dpkg, stampede slp, and slackware tgz file formats"
it can be found here:

The gtk1 build seems to have alsa support.

I think an x2x extension would be a powerful companion to SSH and tinycore.

Just plug in a machine next to you, boot with your tinycore image, then:
ssh -X "x2x -east -to:0"

and your main machine becomes a software KVM, use your existing mouse/keyboard.
