X libraries included in TC.

As per BLFS following libraries enhance X.
Quote
Qt-3.3.8b
Qt-4.3.4
GTK+-1.2.10
cairo-1.8.4
Pango-1.22.2
ATK-1.24.0
GTK+-2.14.4
LessTif-0.95.0
startup-notification-0.9
libwnck-2.18.3
shared-mime-info-0.21
hicolor-icon-theme-0.10
libxklavier-3.2
freeglut-2.4.0
GOffice-0.6.1
MesaLib-7.2
I would like to know whether any of them are already included in TC or Xorg-7.4.tcel

I tried to install cairo (assuming it is not present) and I could not configure it since it did not find pixman, although, pixman is included in Xorg.

None of those listed libs are included in the base. For enhancing libs, there are FLTK and imlib2, because they are light.

We have gtk1 in one extension, and gtk2+pango+cairo+atk in the gtk2 extension. Xorg includes Mesa (mesalib, mesaglut)

About pixman, do you also have the devs for it loaded? They are also in Xorg-7.4-dev.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Pixman is quite abundant, it is in Xorg(-devs), gtk+-2(-devs) and standalone.  Either Xorg or Gtk2 -devs extension as well as pixman-devs provides the needed development files.  And pixman is the same version in all those extensions so there should be no conflict. There was one app that needed pixman yet didn't need gtk2 or xorg, though by now I forget which one it is.
