Xorg key bindings using JWM

TC2.3 rc3 -Key bindings don't work when I first boot up into JWM
If I restart window manager from menu...then key bindings work.
If I exit to prompt and then ...startx...they do not work again
until I restart window manager from menu.
/tem/wm_errors....show a lot of key errors after boot
seems like startx does something different when starting JWM then ..restart window manager..does?
Edited title only to more accurately describe the issue - roberts

Where you using Xorg when you tried ?
I have the problem with missing key bindings only when I use Xorg.
If I use Xvesa keybindings work on boot up.

I rarely use Xorg. Providing more info will surely help.
Are you running confless? If so you may need a keyboard section?
As I don't use Xorg, others in the community will be more knowlegeable than I with reagrd to such.

I run with a xorg.conf...the same one I have used since tc2.0
(went back and checked and key bindings worked on boot in tc2.0)
My current xorg.conf does have a keyboard section with
..driver..."kbd"
Anyways thanks for your checking and response...it's not a big deal
to restart the window manager...I have bound a little script in .jwmrc-keys to F8
to toggle conky on and off...thats how I noticed issue.

Partially solved
Since my key bindings worked on boot with tc 2.0...but not with tc 2.3 rc3
I tried the .xsession from tc v2.0 in tc 2.3rc3...and ...the key bindings
worked again on boot...so
played around some more and found that if I replaced the ...waitforX...in
the .xsession from tc 2.3rc3 ..with... ...sleep 5...the key bindings again work on boot
Don't know if this is because of my old hardware or what...but all works now
