Tcvd doesn't appear
« on: September 11, 2009, 05:04:23 AM »
Hi Robert!
nI have a virtual hd on hde1 that I have used to mount on tcvd but now tcvd doesn't appear under /mnt. The only thing that I have done to the base tinycore is to comment out flit in .xsession. Is it still supposed to work as before (tcvd)? I don't think it is something that I have in my backup since I made it from scratch. Hope it is something that can be solved since it was so convenient not having to mount the virtual hd manually.

Have fun developing tinycore further,
meo

EDIT:  tcvd appears under /mnt in microcore with flwm

I have re-tested both Tiny Core and Micro Core with tcvd and saw no problems.
I created and used a loop-back file from within Tiny Core and used boot options are shown in:

Perhaps Qemu's disk image tool has changed?

Hi again Robert!

I just updated to tinycore 2.3.1 and without any more changes tcvd appears again. I can't explain it but I'm glad that it's OK again. Thanks for your hard work!

Have fun,
meo
