ondemand not working

Hello!

i am running piCore 16 and nothing that I want to have ondemand works. I just get 'program' failed and that is it. I have tried various programs with the same result. I just did a new installation on a bigger and faster card.

Hello again!

This is something I never have experienced before. Inside the graphical environment I cant install anything. Not ondemand and neither onboot. I made a test when I made a reinstall. I put ffirefox among the ones to be installed from cli with tce-load -wi etc. Firefox installed and I am using it now. If anyone has an idea how to resolve this I will be very grateful.

Hello guys!

This will be the last tiime today. It seems to have to do with choosing the server. This (the third) time I reinstalled piCore I did not ok the question about choosing the server and now it seems OK. Very strange but now I have to do som maitenance since I loaded all I could come to think of before startx.

did you check the md5sum of your image ?

or perhaps another sdcard

or even try loading (pi)core.gz from usb->sata->hdd

iv found many times sdcards can be a problematic factor

also fwiw under powered psu can make pi become erratic and cause strange issues

Hello again!

Now I have the programs that I want to have ondemand, ondemand, so everything is working normally and the only thing I did different was to say NO when asked if I wanted to test the servers to see which was fastest. That is a fact since everything is working OK now.
