Hi has anyone got a print server running?  I just installed V16 and tried to install some extensions.  But nothing is running.  Thanks

Hi Kingston
If you go to the search page:
https://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php?action=search
and enter:
Code: [Select]
"print server"including the quotation marks in the  Search for:  field you'll get
about 45 results. Maybe there's something useful there.

... I just installed V16 and tried to install some extensions. ...
Which extensions? It's difficult to help you if we don't know
the extensions you are attempting to use for this.

Services don't run automatically. They typically need to be
configured and then started.

You also need to decide what kind of print server you want.

Something simple:

This uses the  p910nd  daemon and feeds the printer directly.
You can find it on github.

Or something more complex, with a print queue and buffering.
In that case you probably want something like  cups.
