Do you have access to a cable internet connection?

If not you will need to download the required extensions on a machine with internet access and transfer them on a usb stick or similar.

Do you know what WiFi hardware you have?

How do I get the reading from the terminal from a laptop with no internet access back to this forum?
If I can take screenshots, will those be ok?

Couldn't you just point me to a wifi drivers superpack or something?

Hi MaxFury
Welcome to the forum.

I suggest you first try:
http://tinycorelinux.net/16.x/x86/release/CorePlus-16.2.iso

It's 32 bit, but it has WIFI drivers, firmware, and utilities.
If we can get WIFI running with that, we should be able to
use that information to get a 64 bit setup working.

Any chance we'll see the 64bit version of that iso available soon?

For reasons I know not.....your output for the lspci failed. And for my laptop, not a netbook I have eg SNIP means I am showing relevant infomation
Code: [Select]
lspci # NOT posters device
00:14.3 Network controller: Intel Corporation Jasper Lake PCH CNVi WiFi (rev 01)

Its possible your flash of the 32 bit was using a bad download.
Did you check its hash value before you flashed it?
What is the name of the command or name of software that you used to flash please?
My images expire in 1 month

2) On the 64 bit laptop....I can use USB tether from my phone via a good data cable to the usb port.
First click the control panel (command = cpanel you can not see it)
https://i.postimg.cc/C55dYJLB/cpanel.png
Next click the sevices button and look at next image
https://i.postimg.cc/Bn0sBM9H/usb-tether.png

To reveal that box for (2) ...you clicked services
Now the fun part

On your iphone or android....go into settings -> network and look for usb tether
-> enable it
connect phone to spare usb port

Your current light for dhcp may green (on) or greyed out
I need it clicked so its off......it will fail if you try with it left green please
Next click it to green
-----if it goes off....try again.....it must stay green
once it stays green....you have the net

Click on Apps and click browse to see if you have the net.

#############

Depending on Rich advice....you may like to download the 32 iso on this current 64 device and use a dd command to flash it....but I will wait to see if you are happy to try this method and if it succeeds.

Good Luck
