[Solved] prevent boot menu on Pi 5
« on: October 02, 2025, 05:37:19 AM »
How can I prevent the boot menu from showing up on the Raspberry Pi 5? (Please see the attached image.)

Also, how can I configure the Pi to always automatically boot from the SD card?

On other operating systems, I would normally use raspi-config, but I couldn’t find it on PiCore.

There's no image attached?

Your RPi should boot from sd card by default.

piCore does not use raspi-config - the boot code "quiet" will stop some of the noise.

Sorry i moved this quetion from the other topic without the foto but now i edited the topic.

i already have quiet in cmdline.txt but i get the boot menu to start from usb or sd or network.

I need to get this away and just directly start from sd card

Hi,

I found out that the Raspberry Pi Imager tool is responsible for this – it can be used to remove this menu.

this Topic can be marked as solved.

Thank you
